Hyster has introduced their new "Moderate Duty" line of forklifts in addition to their Fortis Series.
Per Hyster: "Ideal for single shift or light second shift needs, this powertrain is
optimized for 5,000 lb. moderate-duty jobs. By using proven
components like sealed electronic connectors, O-ring face seal fittings
on the truck chassis and a historically durable transmission, the
S/H50CT is eager to crank up and work hard when you need it
to. The operator compartment boasts a low step height of 14 in.
with ample footroom and lower vibration thanks to our isolated
powertrain. Thoughtful touches like a 12 in. steering wheel atop a
tilting steer column offer infinite adjustments and comfort. Plus, the
non-cinching seatbelt stays loose during normal driving conditions,
and automatically locks for safety if the situation requires it."
